It gives me great pleasure to provide you once again with a great big welcome!  You the historian, reenactor, old west enthusiast, visitor and vendor are what this sport is all about.  I want to thank you for your continued interest and dedication to the Old West through NCOWS and to the many volunteers who have helped make this possible.

This year's convention will once again be the Midwest's largest event of its kind featuring Old West artisans, craftsmen, living historians, musicians, professional presentations, historic displays, merchants, the Banquet, best dressed costume contest, auction and prize raffle, Old West seminars and events.  All these activities will be taking place at the Mid-America Convention Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  This is a new facility and is located at the junction of Interstates I-29 and I-80.  Additional information is contained in the current issue of the Shootist Magazine (official publication of NCOWS).
